Promix LettersSome of our happy clients have sent in their stories about their pets, please don't hesitate to email us with your story and we would be happy to publish it. Luscious LilacHi Lesley, I had pretty much retired my horse, Luscious Lilac (13year old TB mare, 1.20m graded show jumper). She just wasn't the same after sustaining an injury that saw her off for 6 months. I tried the physio, joint supplements, more time off with only small improvement. It was heart breaking to see my once proud horse become so lackluster. She lacked energy, flexibility and some days bordered on being unsound. SamHi Lesley, I felt the need to say Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. About 4 months ago I contacted you re my ailing 32 year old mare, which due to getting every virus that came our way, had lost a lot of weight, coat condition and so it seemed the will to live. The vet injected her with B complex and told me to put her on several very costly supplements, 5 expensive months down the line with no improvement, the vet suggested putting her down.TarrynHi Lesley, Your Promix Vitamins,Mminerals & Amino Mix is marvelous. My pony is on extremely limited grazing this time of year owing to her cushings disease and the great risk of laminits this time of year with all the rain we have had. Usually she loses a lot of weight but not only that, she loses a large amount of muscle and top line. This year however, being on your product, although she is lean, she has maintained good top line and looks like a fit well pony and not an SPCA case. Many thanks again for your great products. Tarryn
Collins ShammyThank you so much for recommending the PROMIX- Pet Multi-vitamin, Mineral & Amino Acid supplement for our Labrador (Shammy), who is 9½ years old. She was definitely having very little quality of life - blind; battling to get up and down our patio steps and generally not able to get around easily. A True Tale of Mr BojanglesMany moons ago I went to a racing dispersal sale and by pure luck, landed up buying a 3 month pregnant mare for R750.00, as no one seemed to want her. She was in foal to “Foveros” a great racing stallion. After much medical cost, she at last gave birth to a healthy filly. I named her Ginsing Lass. Nicknamed “Pins” the foal reached the age of 3 months when mom ruptured a gut and we had to put her down. Pins now was an orphan and was adopted by the rest of my herd and grew up to be my soul horse mate. A true story of her man by Lesley Delaney South African Friesian DreamLast year in June I received an e-mail from a lady in South Africa and we started a correspondence about a neglected horse she found that she was trying to trace its Friesian lineage of. Indeed his roots go back to Friesland. It was interesting to read about its South African breeding, what someone halfway across the world has in common with so many Friesian/horse lovers in America, and how she has her horse flourishing now. We share with you some of the pictures Nitch has sent me of how she found Alexander, now named Spirit, and how he now looks, with the latest pictures. View Nitch's letter here. |
